With over 40 years in the horse industry, David “Tuffy” Owens brings a fresh approach to horse show management and promotion. A winner of the UPHA Herman Miles Horse Show Manager of the Year Award and the People’s Choice Morgan Horse Show Manager of the Year, Tuffy wants horse shows to feel like events. His productions have won numerous UPHA Chapter Horse Show of the Year Awards as well as two UPHA NATIONAL Horse Show of the Year Awards. These prestigious prizes were won by the Madison Classic Horse Show and the Saugerties Summer Showcase, a show that was dreamt up and brought to reality in just six weeks in 2021!
